* 扁八角設計的二胡, 為前面寬度較寬的八角型, 後方橢圓的特殊設計, 此設計使的低音共鳴會較一般二胡來的渾厚, 音量也較宏亮, 適合演奏類似《二泉映月》這類需要低音的曲目, 但因其共鳴音色特殊, 部分二胡老師相當喜歡這種款式的二胡, 但也有部分二胡老師對此款二胡相當排斥, 覺得音色不夠正統
