Powered by our unique proprietary circuit,\n\nthe No.1 was born from years of passion and sweat, experimenting and\n\ntweaking with the tones we heard, loved and set out to perfect.\n\nAs versatile as it is bold, the No.1 is designed in the spirit of an overdriven tube amp.\n\nIt features two gain controls which cascade the gain stages for a rich and\n\nharmonic overdrive.\n\nGain one controls the first gain stage from a pure clean boost\n\nto a naturally compressing overdrive.\n\nGain two shares one knob with the Bass control.\n\nIt cleverly controls the gain and the low end of the next gain stage,\n\nwhich adds rich harmonics, bottom end and natural tube-like saturation to your tone.\n\nIt is designed as an active high-pass filter for the second gain stage\n\nand will allow you to set the amount of bottom end with precision.\n\nCONTROLS\n\n1. Gain Controls the unity gain of the circuit.\n\n2. Volume Controls the overall output volume of the No. 1.\n\n3. The hi/lo switch is tied directly into the gain.  The lo setting offers a warm,\n\ntube-like boost and a subtle crunchy overdrive, great for rhythm playing.\n\nThe hi setting adds saturation, sustain, low end and compression.\n\nThis setting is recommended for a more powerful rhythm or soloing.\n\n4.
