『広瀬淡雅』造  白釉割高台

萩燒是距今400年前毛利輝元的時代，由朝鮮渡海而來的陶藝工人所創立，之後受到幕府的強烈保護，加上許多愛好者的關愛，使得歷代工匠們的技術日漸精進，一直維護著舊有的傳統並發展至今。

萩燒只要用手觸摸就能感受其古雅純樸的風趣，還有年輪的色調變化，也就是所謂的“萩之七變”，其色調變化的樂趣是其他作品無法看到的。日本古來的陶藝素有“一樂二萩三唐津”之說法，代表萩燒的古雅脫俗的風格受到大家的喜愛。
