 2014年老茶頭熟茶，是渥堆發酵時，茶堆最上面一層，一般是板結成塊，發酵充分，茶廠會將這些茶單獨拿出來存放。茶湯入口順滑，口感醇厚，香氣濃郁，還有淡淡的棗香味，是大益牌中的一款經典好茶。

 油光光澤，茶磚形狀規整，鬆緊適度，也有利於後期的均勻轉化；餅面可見芽頭較多，金豪盡顯。

 背面與正面一樣，條索均勻細緻，經過適度發酵，依然清晰可見，狀塊明顯，富有光澤。

湯色非常漂亮，栗紅通透，茶湯入口，甜味足，非常潤滑，香氣純正且有淡淡的糖香，喝過之後喉嚨一段非常舒服清潤甘甜。

此茶經久耐泡，葉底比較完整，能清晰看到沒有碎的條索，適度發酵的葉底，柔韌且有彈性，色澤烏黑，具有較高的後期儲存價值。
