端硯　(綠端，祝福硯) 

23 x 11.5 x 3.5 公分，精美香樟實木盒

竹(祝)蝠(福)。

端硯，石產於廣東古端州(即今之肇慶市)東郊羚羊峽的斧柯山端溪水旁一帶。端溪石始於唐武德之世，迄今已有一千三百年多年歷史，為四大名硯之首。

端硯三大名坑為老坑、坑仔以及麻子坑，另有宋坑、梅花坑、朝天岩以及古塔岩等。端石色青紫如豬肝，石品花紋相當豐富，有魚腦凍、蕉葉白、青花、天青、火捺，玫瑰紫、金線、銀線以及石眼等，尤以石眼為端石一大特徵。

梅花坑開採始於宋，現產於典水村及沙浦鎮。梅花坑石色蒼灰略代黃，石眼多為其一大特色，石質與宋坑相近。

宋坑開採始於宋，坑口分佈廣，多於北領山一帶。宋坑代表色為深紫，即古稱的豬肝色，另亦有紫灰色、紫紅偏黃以及偏黃帶綠等。宋坑常見火捺，亦有石眼，相當有特色。

產自肇慶的綠色端石均統稱為綠端，出處甚多。綠端石色青綠略代黃，有的呈翠綠色，相當美麗。綠端常被利用顏色做為巧雕，也是端硯中具極特色的一支。綠端石質滋潤，但研墨效果略次於宋坑。
