金屬前端直徑約9mm，此工具僅適用於壓底底蓋，若要打開旋底底蓋，請選用兩腳或三腳開表器。

 

使用方法：將撬刀放在特製的撬口中，用力往外翹即可。

防止打滑方法：請用一塊棉布包住手錶防止手中打滑，另可以在刀口處放塊膠布防止打滑把底蓋弄花！

 

手錶底蓋通常為三種：
1.牙底（底蓋上面是由小小無數的牙齒組成的）。此種底蓋一定為圓底，防水性能好。高檔手錶如勞力士，帝陀等為此種底蓋。
2.螺絲底（底蓋上面通常有6個小凹口，極個別的僅有2個小凹口）。此種底蓋一定為圓底，中高檔表一般為此種底蓋。
3.普通底(通常在底蓋的7字位或者11字位有小小特製撬口。部分手錶除撬口外，底蓋上還有6個小凹口，此為假螺絲底)。此種底蓋為圓底或方底，中低檔表中常見，少數高檔表中也可見。
