1988 年開始石雕，無師自通。

1989 年 7 月於高雄市中正文化中心首次個展

1990 年 2 月於桃園縣立文化中心個展

1994 年 2 月於台中縣立文化中心個展

1994 年 8 月參加嘉義市藝術家作品義賣聯展 

 

蔡芳澤出生在嘉義縣，具有工專學歷，二十八歲(1988年)開始玩石雕， 天份秉異畫得一手好畫，才一年就開始在高雄文化中心展覽石雕。其作品以現實人物及神像為主要題材，次而是十二生肖和野生動物系列，後期因嘉義市石猴逐漸被重視而刻了很多石猴。
