名家簡介:
劉建平，江蘇省工藝美術大師(2011年第五屆)、江蘇省陶瓷藝術大師(2011年首屆)，2007年研究員級高級工藝美術師，中國美術家協會會員，中國工業設計協會會員，中國工藝美術學會會員，江蘇省工藝美術陶專會委員。1957年生於江蘇宜興，1976年進入江蘇省宜興紫砂工藝廠學藝，啟蒙老師高麗君；1978年擇優考入紫砂廠研究所，拜中國工藝美術大師呂堯臣為師學習紫砂造型設計；1982年與工藝美術大師顧紹培一起帶班培訓藝徒；1983年至南京藝術學院陶瓷藝術系進修；1984年獨立帶班培訓藝徒；1989年進入中央工藝美院進修陶瓷美術。 80年代末被東南亞港台地區收藏愛好者譽為“紫砂四小龍”之一。90年代無論紫砂市場高低起伏，始終保持著對藝術的刻苦鑽研精神，博善眾長，維古摩新。
