　歸功於浮動鏡片，Summilux-M 24mm f/1.4 ASPH. 不論在最小光圈與近拍攝距離時，都能有極佳的畫面表現。當光圈值縮到 2.8 時，成像品質更是絕對出色——一般廣角高速鏡頭都會有光學上的暗角或變形現象，但這支鏡頭卻完全無須擔心，僅會留下非常自然的漸暈效果。

　Summilux-M 24mm f/1.4 ASPH. 的最大失真率是 2.2%，實用中幾乎可忽略不計。共十片的鏡片，造就了此一優異的性能：為校正色像差，其中五片為低色散玻璃，並包含一片非球面鏡片；其餘部份之結構則為一群獨立移動的浮動鏡片，有助於維持近攝品質。
