1971年，本池秀夫 Hideo Motoike 創立了 LEATHER ARTS & CRAFTS MOTO，一個專注於客製化產品的皮革品牌。 

他對皮革這種材質十分講究，在沒有大師及其他榜樣的情況下，他開始完全依靠自己的熱情和想像力製作工具和皮件。

LEATHER & SILVER MOTO 則由 Daisuke Motoike 和 Sakuto 兄弟於 1997 年創立，

因為他們的父親 Hideo Motoike本身就是皮革藝術家，所以兄弟倆從小就熟悉皮革。 

除了皮革製品之外，大輔還利用他在義大利佛羅倫斯學到的金屬雕刻技術，

藝術家利用他學習學院雕刻的經驗來創作基於傳統和創新主題的產品。

2013年，他啟動了「MOTORATORY」項目，該項目由「MOTO」和「LABORATORY」組合而成，意為實驗室。 

這個概念是創造一個表達場所，旨在接受新的挑戰和實驗，同時繼承半個多世紀歷史培育的技術。

2016年，本池秀雄成為全國第一位獲得縣級非物質文化遺產皮革工藝品持有人認證的人。

現況說明 Current Situation Description:

大底是橡膠軟底設計腳底反饋良好且具緩衝效果，腳跟Heel有磨損(如照片)、

皮質狀況良好、手工染色每雙都是獨一無二、側邊有縮筒綁繩(牛皮繩)很有設計感
