葡萄牙鋼琴女傑Pires的彈奏總是帶有知性之美，可以說她在理性與感性的平衡拿捏相當出色，這套是她1996(D899，荷蘭Haarlem大會堂)-97年(葡萄牙里斯本)錄音，解說冊由Pires親自撰寫，開頭也提到，這份錄音是獻給鋼琴大師Richter的，Richter 1997年過世，他的舒伯特演奏也是一絕，因此Pires的演奏也應該或多或少有受Richter的影像，總之，就像封面標題Le Voyage Magnifique(美好的旅程)，Pires也用她知性、感性兼具的琴音，帶聽者來一趟美好的旅程!
