   光緒二十四年所鑄造的銀元種類，特徵與二十三年基本相同，只是數量更多，鑄幣總量達到303.095萬元，流通廣泛。
   北洋二十二到二十四年間，北洋機器局所鑄造的大清銀幣，他們的顯著特徵就是不用重量而用元，而北洋25用就是庫平重量，這也反映出當時經歷過激烈的元兩之爭，保守派與維新派之爭，看似先進於其它省份而紀值造幣的北洋機器局銀幣上演了一場木偶劇，受經濟規律和政治活動影響，紀值銀幣失去其紀值意義，光緒25年北洋局鑄造了紀重的北洋銀幣。
