撫順琥珀有何特點？
撫順琥珀與其他產地的琥珀最大的不同點在於，撫順琥珀出產時外表往往會裹著一層煤皮。
雖然煤皮的存在會比較不好辨別質地好壞，但是卻讓撫順琥珀具有了豐富分油性，看上去有特殊的光澤度，比起其他產區的琥珀，越盤玩越明亮。
另外，撫順琥珀的煤皮有時還會被雕刻師巧妙地保留下來，形成獨特的藝術風格。
撫順琥珀還有一個特點是硬度低，這使得它極易被雕刻，所以非常受玉雕師的歡迎，經雕刻製成的工藝品美不勝收，極具收藏價值。
一些高品級的水料、花料及彩料，價格是黃金的20多倍。
