1950年，徕卡推出了產量最高的螺口L39机身Leica IIIf。

IIIf本質上來說是在IIIc基礎上演變而来的。

相比IIIc增加了閃光燈同步接口，快門速度轉盤下方是閃燈延時轉盤。

1952年，序列号611000的快門速度出現更新的1/25、1/50/1/75快門速度。
