作者介紹：此甕生產年代約為日治時期(1895-1945)，產地為新竹金煉成窯場，使用手拉坯的方式塑形，色澤獨特。器肩上印有「金煉款」，是金煉甕特有印記。金煉成使用燒製溫度穩定，釉藥使用玻璃粉及熟料，也會在出窯之前灑上鹽巴讓食鹽分解成氯以及鈉離子，使之附著在陶瓷上產生特殊釉色，有紫藍、金黃色等多采多姿的顏色，形成金煉甕獨樹一格的特色。
