美國著名的美女歌手June Christy，本名叫做Shirley Luster。不過從Luster改為Christy中間的段時間裡，她還有過一個藝名叫Sharon Leslie。

June Christy這個名字讓她在西元1945年接下了Stan Kenton大樂團專屬歌手的位置，成功頂下了Anita O’Day 離團後的空缺。Christy於西元1925年出生，很早便踏入歌壇，聲音清爽不做作，平和溫暖，很快便在西岸爵士樂壇找到定位。

Stan Kenton 樂團的前成員June Christy， 因其精緻的白人演唱風格而廣受歡迎。這是她一生的傑作！說到酷爵士演唱，就是這張了！

這是代表酷爵士的大樂隊Stan Kenton 樂團成員、白人爵士女歌手June Christy 的代表作。 1953年至1955年間與Pete Rugolo Orchestra 管弦樂團錄製，樂團成員包括Bud Shank, Barney Kessel, and Shelly Manne 等知名爵士音樂家。
