清末民初，河北邯鄲人，孟昭繼，字興韻，號鄴下書生，作為孟子第七十三代後裔，他承襲家族儒學傳統，并以書法藝術聞名于當地，其生平活躍于清末民初時期，與邯鄲文化界多有交流，擅長楷書與行草，筆法融合顏真卿的渾厚與歐陽詢的峻利，部分作品可見北魏碑刻影響，注重筆墨韻律，字跡端莊而不失靈動，在冀南地區頗具聲望， 曾為邯鄲文廟書院題寫匾額（現已不存） 現存部分信札及扇面作品藏于邯鄲市博物館民國版《邯鄲縣志》收錄其題跋墨跡· 《邯鄲縣志·人物卷》（1934年版） · 《孟氏宗譜·河北分譜》（1942年抄本） · 邯鄲市檔案館藏《冀南文化人物手札匯編》 尺寸：裝裱部分公分，作品部分公分，B1倉，002
