◎素有"德國Manowar"響亮封號的Epic Power Metal樂團第七張全新專輯◎用金屬樂句架構出女巫Goochan邪惡統治、反抗軍起身抵抗的史詩概念鉅作1989年組成，由軸心人物Soren van Heek(鼓)所領軍、目前成員為Sven D`Anna(主唱)、Volker Leson(貝斯)和雙吉他手Dano Boland、Michael Maass的德意志Epic Power Metal鋼鐵樂團Wizard，除強硬的金屬音韻外，描述戰爭、神話等史詩歌詞內容使得樂團有了"德國Manowar"的響亮封號！首張專輯「Son of Darkness」在1995年發表，承襲飆悍、熱血、日爾曼合唱再加上主唱Sven D`Anna高亢嗓音所散發的德意志金屬血脈讓Wizard在樂壇順利一炮而紅；第二擊「Battle of Metal (97)」再掀波瀾，足以稱為Gamma Ray、Blind Guardian、Metaliun等團正宗衣缽傳人！不過經過中規中矩的「Bound by Metal (99)」專輯表現後，樂團開始意識到假設只是單純傳承前輩所留下的既定風格絕對無法在搖滾歷史中留下足跡，所以開始嘗試融入新的元素來提升自我的音樂質量；終於，充滿神話戰爭題材的「Head of the Deceiver (01)」獲得眾家傳媒及樂迷的大力讚賞，成功寫下Wizard往後在音樂上的正確路線；06年加入了大廠Massacre Records也為樂團開闢了更具規模的市場成績。第七張由樂團與Dennis Ward共同監製的全新作品「Goochan」描述女巫Goochan運用她邪惡的能力統治這個星球，看不畏懼犧牲的反抗大軍如何起身捍衛疆土。有別於一般概念題材的規律，開啟故事大門的"Witch of the Enchanted Forest"以及"Pale Rider"均是長達六、七分鐘的長篇之作，不過在Wizard巧手安排下反而顯得一氣呵成，不至於太過攏長；接下來"Call to the Dragon"則回到熱血魅力的招牌Power風格，Man力十足；"Children of the Night"、"Lonely in Desert Land"、"The Sword of Vengeance"曲調旋律性豐富，讓人為之著迷！
